Rapid Dry Envelope

In multi-storey developments, MBS light steel framing creates a rapid dry envelope to support the external cladding and internal plasterboard. Rapid installation of the light steel frame ensures the buildings are enclosed earlier, enabling finishing work and internal fit-out to proceed. Fast construction can save weeks on critical site programmes.

High acoustic and thermal values are possible as the 'warm-frame' construction enables additional and improved performance through a variety of insulation boards on both external and internal walls.

MBS frames are much lighter than blockwork or other masonry materials, which is a necessity on renovation projects where heavy line loads are unable to be carried by the existing floors.
